Sarah has a wealth of animal experience working with a variety of species but has a particular interest in dog behaviour. She started her further education with a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Applied Biology specialising in Animal Management at Sparsholt College in Hampshire.  She then went on to gain a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science from Nottingham University.

It was at this time that she developed a keen interest in canine behaviour and set her sights on gaining a formal qualification in this subject to complement her practical experience. This was achieved in 2003 when she gained the post graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from Southampton University. She has since gone  on to complete her Masters degree in this subject.

Sarah has worked closely with rescue organisations offering behavioural and training advice and this has not only increased her experience but also led to a keen interest in working with dogs and their owners.

Sarah also feels that its essential to offer well run  puppy classes to help owners raise a well adjusted family pet.

Sarah has owned and fostered dogs of various breeds and many of which have been from rescue.

In addition to dogs, Sarah also fosters 2 donkeys and the most recent addition to her menagerie is a horse that is in her 30's, acquiring extra animals seems to be an occupational hazard when you work with rescues! See www.blindbeauty.co.uk for more details.
